For over a century, the Alvarez family has grown exceptional coffee on the fertile slopes of El Salvador’s Santa Ana Volcano. El Borbollón brings together beans from two neighboring, family-owned farms—La Reforma and Santa Maria—founded in 1892 and still managed by the fourth generation. Grown under native shade in rich volcanic soil, 100% red Bourbon cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness and carefully processed at the family’s award-winning mill. Meticulous fermentation and slow clay-patio drying deliver a coffee of remarkable clarity, depth, and heritage.
